Roll The Dice - Self Titled
More often than not, less is less. Sometimes less is exactly what you want. This album is almost entirely composed of one synth set against one piano. A few tracks feature slight percussion along the lines of shakers and woodblocks. The synth either pulses urgently or hovers warmly while the piano strikes just sporadically enough to introduce a tasty discord. Reassuring calms build to reveal overtones of imminent danger. I think one of the guys in this band writes music for movies, that would make sense. I would compare this album to the experience of laying in the surf at high tide on an August night.

Hi
This is a music download blog. The focus is positive energy. Honestly I don't have that much of a collection, most of this stuff is also available elsewhere, I just wanna practice writing about music so I can land my dream job of writing album reviews for Transworld Skateboarding Magazine. This might just be fun though. Put on your listening hats and vibe the fuck out.
